“When is the best time to eat oysters?” Think about it like this, Sydney Rock
Oysters are controlled by a multitude of natural forces. Most people don’t
realise that each river has a very small peak period each year, as little as
two weeks, when the oysters are perfect. When is the best time to eat oysters? When
the Oysterfarmer working the river day-in day-out tells you! So, if you knew of an oysterfarmer up the
coast, with more years experience than he cares to count, with his farm in
the middle of some of the cleanest water in We have a limited number of these precious

connoisseur of oysters and know the difference between oysters that are in
season and in their peak, then these are for you. But you will have to wait. We only deliver once, one day in the whole
year, sometime in summer, when the oysters are perfect. About a week before
the oysters are ready we will give you a call, either to prepare an oyster
party or so you can stock up on your favourite wine, turn on the answering
machine and enjoy each and every one of them yourself. |
